by kiki2u @ 2008-07-15 - 18:33:24

Strange Carafes 8| : Strange Carafes are a set of wine decanter made by French sculptor Etienne Meneau. The intricate glass carafes hold one bottle of wine and go for as much as 5,000 Euros 88| . All I want to know is: how do you wash them :> :??: ? :))

Did you? LOOOOOOOOOOOOL :)) i hardly drink! Must be cz the Port wine no? HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAA or the fresh Green wine YUMY :b :p

But i have no idea about the site you're talking about now :-/
:)):)):))

Must be that wine...just it's stucked in those funny bottles, decanters or whatever they are! :)) BUT OOOOOH I know LOTS of sites, interesting and funny ones, when i opened my blog about 4 or 5 years ago i named it the LOL BLOG :)) Then i changed it. as others bloggers started to appear blogging a bit like me, as were mostly very serious so when mine appeared plus the Gary's one yes were ours both really funny blogs :)) well, still are :) oh yes! But now there's more :D like Kevin's one=eagle-eye and yours, plus others good and funny friends :))...yes :))
I must do a roll of the ones i find the best ones and post in my front page yes cz lots of friends are doing it not caring if their friends can be sad or not with such atitude..so i'l do the same, almost after 5 years of blogging!
I never did that cz if i reduce the bloggers number in my list and i have the bloggers i like, in my list, i have no need to do a blog roll..unless i had lots of bloggers in my list, but that's not the case, there yes i would do that; so, i try to reduce the number from time to time, having as blogfriends the ones i really like and most keep the ones always i have as friends indeed and trustworthy persons/friends which i am very proud nowadays of it :D ...anyway maybe i'l do that  :))

 .... Bloody vessel that what it is :>( :> :)) hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

( PS: Pssssst:Just arriving home from docs. now i'l have fun blogging around seeing what you were up to today posting :)) before do some more house clean  :-/ ) :))

Cool but you need a long straw to drink it out of that unless they have a plug in the bottom which would also make it easier to wash with! :D x

I bought something which is an offshoot of this type of design, though a local glass blower made the one I bought, not a French man. It is also a more manageable size though the tubes may present the same cleaning issues

Regarding washing out the arteries, I think that should be fairly straightforward. You either use a long flexible handled bottle brush, they come in different sizes and diameters and work on each artery, or, you lay the creation 'flat' in a receptacle large enough to take it comfortable, cover it with water and add a proprietary cleaner to the water.

:D

Hi M.

Yes? Because i find this so cute, funny! Ah, you asked to a local blower made it, great idea, i'l guess i'l do that too!

Oh French :)) they only do what we ask for when they feel to! Really :)) LOL, well the experiences i had in France tells me that about french people! Dunno if this is a critic or not but that's the truth! I've been there various times and tss tsss comparing to other nationalities they are really bad to people from abroad, i mean to tourists... especially to english when people from England let there toooooooo much pounds! .. better i shut up :)) hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Ha well i'm in my blog and i'm not offending no one, it's the truth, i tell what i want!Since i visit that country that i see french being like that! And always not being nice to people, especially tourists!

Yes, that about the cleaning must be weird do it! Dunno how they do that!

I guess the way you tell it works, there are nowadays great cleaners that we even don't need to use brushes! That's right :)

Bonjour KiKi2u,

Thanks for your interest !
Some answers :

-WASHING :
Borosilicat glass is a very strong, chemically and thermically. You can wash the Decanter with very hot water, possibly added with salts wash. You rinse it thoroughly, last rinsing with demineralized water...
Let drain the decanter 2 or 3 hours upside down on a towel folded, propped up well in a corner.

-POURING :
after a small training (with water) you can perfectly pour wine in a glass without any drop anywhere. The rule is : "where is the wine ?" (new game !)

-PRICE is only 2200 euros
