Yes M. you're right, i didn't know about these signs around!
As you say better we keep the nice ones at home or hidden and use or show only some old ones; i'l start to use when on streets the old ones, iPod and phone!

Yes, i do hope so! I have been doing everything as i've been told to do, so i'm sure that can't be such kind of illness. Anyway yes i took since a while some time for myself, and i'm never down!
Thank you very much for your words and support M. I do hope soon have and I'l post great news, that all have been an error, only something that they/docs decided to sort it out what it was/is, and that was only some kind of inflamation or so, nothing related with what they scaredme about!

I usually plug my Sony earphones into my iPod because they are black, rather than the standard iPod white ones. I find that deters the opportunists.

I have seen a similar poster in another country and on the underground trains in London. So many Pods are old (out of date very quickly) a bit like cell phones, I wonder how pod grabbers would know what they might be getting.
I met someone who chose to buy a very old phone as his 'latest gizmos' were always stolen. He hasn't lost a phone for a couple of years since he bought the old one. He says no-one is interested in it. That's fine as hubby's phone is the same old model as that guy had, very usable and practical too.
The majority of people only show head or earphones, you rarely see mp3 players on display, not for long anyway. The ear pieces may not be attached to an iPod anyway. Most other pods are of little interest.
However, these posters do raise awareness that caution should be exercised and property should be cared for. On the other hand, it can be overdone.
