Cocktails-for-Two

"What is Fate?"
Everyone, says me believe in fate,
And I reply why I should.
I was bankrupted, I was told its my fate,
Due to my fate I lost my family and my love,
All friends departed from me,
Everything that I had earned was lost,
One day I deeply thought about it,
I trusted deceitful people so, I got bankrupt,
My family and love had greed for not my care but for money so I got them,
My so called friends were only mine the time I had success, after my downfall they departed,
Nothing had I earned so why should I blame my fate?
Again, I started my life trusted very right person, took right decision at right time,
And see me now yet again I have become successful,
All the other who previously blamed my fate says see your fate has changed,
I reply them once again what is fate?
It's my dignity and hard work that has paid. "

Sometimes things happen, but generally I think we are our own fate. But a lot of people act like sheep and let life drift on and wonder why they are in the state they end up in. Then they blog ... Fight back, sheep are just wolves in disguise!

That's so true what you say, i also don't believe in destiny, or fate, i think like that too...but well sometimes yes one have luck or a bad event without knowing how :)) and then we wonder about it!

Hi Kiki, Hi Pip, long time not coming on blogland... Fate made me stumble upon this good poem hahaha... Very happy to see you both here :-)
I guess there's probably a bit of both... fate exists, some main lines of our lives or some unexpected events... but we always have our free choice and therefore we can choose our direction when arriving at a crossroad (many many crossroads in this life !!! lol), so we really are co-creator of our life with the Universe :)
About "hard work" in the poem, I suspect the author not to talk of the hard work to get more money for a living, but the inward work transforming us from sheep or wolf disguised in free bird, isn't it Pip ?

Hi Rose,
I was only thinking today I hadn't seen you post for a long time. Kiki has computer troubles at the moment but should be back soon. I have not been too well but am not too bad this weekend. Hope you and your doggy are fine. Very variable weather here. The way I look at fate, is like playing cards, we are dealt a hand (good or bad) but it is up to us how we play it. Have a good week. Oh well life goes on, i know it has up and downs, sometimes too much hard ones,but i try i try and i go on, till when i dunno but that's why is so important keep the good spirits and be surrounded of positive people or at least be the master of ourselves and accept only what we want and we know it's great for oneself.
That's it :D let's keep dancing and sun-dancing in the rays of sunlight...now i'm imagening myself sundancing on streets w/everybody staring at me hahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaa OMG hope that never happens hahahaha

So true :oops: :)):)):)) but feels so good that soft white sand! :)) And me with beaches nearby wow.. i tried not to see but they didn't mind at all..ah well and me with my boyfriend when at beach :D at those teens days :)) we had great times there :)) hahahaha

That now is letting me thinking a lot! As i got the habit of cameras i even don't remember it! But We must be really careful in our attitudes when out, LOL, yes, bcz we can be filmed and appear on those stuffs like youtube..ah there's no privacy anymore on sand dunes :)):)):))

AH Lo. i'm missing lots our laughs :)) Bcz blog sometimes can let us tired but it also heals us a lot from stress and others problems, that's true.
Ah i'm missing yes i am, in my post of yesterday i tell and i replied your e-mail too. Thank you very much.Yes all ok with me, just got those 2 troubles.Needed2help my dad and auntie and then when arrived Lisbon my laptop was damaged :( so only got it 2 days ago by evening, cleaned it all by morning yesterday and when i could i came to blog yesterday's afternoon as had so many things to do and still have on the laptop. but first i replied friends bcz co-workers and so can wait.
Yes, already posted one now but i'm around prearing to go out, but i'm home b4 lunchtime, so i hope chat w/you, want to visit you and the spanish one :)) love that blog of yours hahaha so cutey!

I'm sorry Stephi, as i tell on my unque post of yesterday's afternoon i got some troubles since about 3 weeks ago, even my laptop decided be " ill " but is ok now :D I cleaned it ust in case yesterday morning, and only started use it by afternoon.But as have lots stuffs delayed bcz was w/out the laptop to work i tried blog anyway while i was online and today i'l do the same lol bcz i'm missing you all and my blog :))
I'm about2go out now but i'm home b4 lunchtime and want visit you too, didn't have yet time to visit most of my blogfriends...well i already saw what you wrote but yesterday was very busy and didn't cmt. yet. I will blogg today.

Spring? :)) From winter we are in a HOT Summer! Last friday and Saturday we got 35+d!!!!!! I even went to the beach, then on Sunday was a winter day :)) hahahaha mad weather.
Hope all fine w/you and your daughters, i'v been away cz some troubles as i say on my post of yesterday but now is all ok and i'm back in Blog-town :D

I heard from Kiki yesterday. Her Aunt was very ill and she had to rush North with her Dad. She got back to Lisbon yesterday but will no doubt need a day or two to rest. Best Wishes.
