I want2Honour my brave little cannary who...

by kiki2u @ 2007-03-31 - 09:48:37

...died during this night i guess. Will be a little shinning star at night when we look up to the sky. When i saw him this early morning, after take away his cage's cover, he was on a corner of his cage like a fluffy yellow ball.. i thought he was sleeping, but was already dead..ah, since then i've been trying to distract my mind but only going out soon i'l manage stop crying.
Yes, i am in tears.
I loved him so much not only bcz was my pet and never knew freedom..is knowing now..but bcz was really brave as he managed survive to a very high fall in his cage, and recovered alone till today, that's why i guess he had a heart-attack. Some of you must remember what happened to him, a while ago, is here on this link as i posted about it:
http://kikita.blog.co.uk/2006/11/28/monday_s_gone_and_my_canary_is_alive~1377035
May he rest in peace now, as i think he never really recovered from the shock of that high fall, which let him at the time very hurted, but as far as i could see he recovered..but not inside, i'm sure.
And i'm sure i treated him, everyday, the best i could, we all did, giving him fruit, the best seeds, i mean the ones he loved with a good variety of it, fresh water even for bathing himself...so, i hope he went in peace with no pains, because will always love him as i still love my parrot. His name was/is " Sunny " because his colour, and used to sing since the day began till be night.
" You find true joy and happiness in life when you give and give and go on giving and never count the cost." - Eillen Caddy
My Sunny bird should be happy then, because he was always giving :D giving us his beautiful " songs "

Fake volcano ignites, makes guests flee

by kiki2u @ 2007-03-31 - 08:03:06

"19 minutes ago:
DULUTH, Minn. - An imitation volcano in a hotel and water park's swimming pool developed delusions of grandeur, forcing guests to flee to the parking lot in their bare feet and swimsuits.
The 20-foot-tall plastic volcano at the Edgewater Hotel and Waterpark started belching black smoke and shooting flames Thursday. The hotel manager said a malfunctioning internal speaker ignited the fire.
Firefighters helped put out the fire, but not before part of the volcano melted.
The displaced swimmers were given blankets and directed to the nearby Perkins and Black Woods restaurants. Once guests were allowed back into their rooms, the staff treated them to in-room ice cream Thursday night.
The Edgewater reopened in January 2006 after a 14-month, $20 million remodeling project."

Owner says dog saved her with 'Heimlich'

by kiki2u @ 2007-03-30 - 09:21:26

CALVERT, Md. - Toby, a 2-year-old golden retriever, saw his owner choking on a piece of fruit and began jumping up and down on the woman's chest. The dog's owner believes the dog was trying to perform the Heimlich maneuver and saved her life.
Debbie Parkhurst, 45, of Calvert told the Cecil Whig she was eating an apple at her home Friday when a piece lodged in her throat. She attempted to perform the Heimlich maneuver on herself but it didn't work. After she began beating on her chest, she said Toby noticed and got involved.
-"The next think I know, Toby's up on his hind feet and he's got his front paws on my shoulders," she recalled. "He pushed me to the-ground, and once I was on my back, he began jumping up and down on my chest."
That's when the apple dislodged and Toby started licking her face to keep her from passing out, she said.
-"I literally have pawprint-shaped bruises on my chest. I'm still a little hoarse, but otherwise, I'm OK," Parkhurst said.
-"The doctor said I probably wouldnt be here without Toby," said Parkhurst, a jewelry artist. "I keep looking at him and saying 'Youre amazing.'"

Devil's Match

by kiki2u @ 2007-03-30 - 08:20:26

"The Devil walks into a crowded bar.
Within seconds the bar emptied with people running out screaming all over the place, all except for one old man leaned over the bar.
The Devil wanders across to the old man and says:
- "Do you know how I am?"
The old man took another sip of his beer and answered:
- "Yep"
The Devil stared at the old man and asked:
- "Well aren't you afraid of me?"
The old boy looks the Devil up and down for a minute and shrugs:
- "I married your sister 40 years ago, why the hell should I be scared of you?"

Drunk Thief

by kiki2u @ 2007-03-29 - 09:30:06

A drunk phoned police to report that thieves had been in his car.

"They've stolen the dashboard, the steering wheel, the brake pedal, even the accelerator!" he cried out.

However, before the police investigation could start, the phone rang a second time with the same voice came over the line.

"Never mind," he said with a hiccup, "I got in the back seat by mistake."

FUN Horoscope4ALL

by kiki2u @ 2007-03-28 - 09:40:09

.Aquarius: Is there a possibility that you will be travelling abroad for your work, or to fulfil some other commitment? Certainly there does seem to be a connection at present between overseas commitments and responsibility, but there is still further information to come.

.Leo: Be aware that you still need some sound advice over finances, at least until next week has come and gone. One point in your favour is that this is an ideal week for reaching agreement on a wide range of issues, personal as well as professional.

.Pisces: Mars is teaming up with Venus so you may be just a little more hypersensitive than usual. Sensible relaxation may be just what you want to keep a level head where other people are concerned. Yet what you need right now is a determination to stick to your guns. :))

.Sagittarius: You may enjoy the fruits of your labours, but do be aware that partners will be expecting you to fulfil your domestic responsibilities today. There doesn't seem to be any chance you can worm your way out of a commitment that was freely given, so stick with it - at least for now.

.Taurus: One lesser-known characteristic of your sign is a love of luxury, excess and indulgence. Seeing as this is not just a perfect moment, but the perfect moment, to enjoy yourself, please keep routine commitments in their proper place. The last thing you want now is to be overwhelmed by extra chores. B)

- Please tell me if yours not posted, and you'd like to know it and i'l add it.

BUT also: Here ARE some CLEVER little answers for the next time someone asks:!:
1.You know, the older i get, the harder it is to lose weight... My body and fat have become such good friends over the years.

2. I started looking a little too much like Mary Kate Olsen, then i decided the Kirsty Alley look was definitely more me.

3. I must be following my diet a little TOO closely. I keep gaining on it!

4. Inside of me tehre's definitely a thin person struggling to get out... Luckilly it only takes a few doughnuts to calm her down!

7. I just don't understand it!
How can a 2 pound box of candy can make a woman gain 5 :?:

Woman HAS Crocodiles strapped to body!

by kiki2u @ 2007-03-27 - 07:14:34

"JERUSALEM - A woman with three crocodiles strapped to her waist was stopped at the Gaza-Egypt border crossing after guards noticed that she looked "strangely fat," officials said Monday. The woman's shape raised suspicions at the Rafah terminal in southern Gaza, and a body search by a female border guard turned up the animals, each about 20 inches long, concealed underneath her loose robe, according to Maria Telleria, spokeswoman for the European observers who run the crossing.
-"The woman looked strangely fat. Even though she was veiled and covered, even with so many clothes on there was something strange," Telleria said.
The incident, which took place on Thursday, sparked panic at the crossing.
-"The policewoman screamed and ran out of the room, and then women began screaming and panicking when they heard," Telleria said. But when the hysteria died down, she said, "everybody was admiring a woman who is able to tie crocodiles to her body."
In her defense, the woman said she "was asked" to carry the crocodiles, said Wael Dahab, a spokesman for the Palestinian guards at the crossing.
The reptiles, which had their jaws tied shut with string, were returned to the Egyptian side of the border.
Dhabi said the animals were likely meant for sale to Gaza's small zoo or to private owners. The crocodiles would fetch "good money," even in the impoverished territory, he said.
The woman was not the first to try to smuggle exotic wildlife through the Rafah crossing, Dahab said: Another woman tried to bring in a monkey tied to her chest, and other travelers tried to smuggle in exotic birds and a tiger cub.
The crossing is the only way in and out of Gaza for residents of the crowded coastal strip.
Since Israel pulled out of Gaza in 2005, the crossing has subject to a complex system of control: Egypt and the Palestinians are responsible for the crossing, with European monitors stationed at the terminal and Israeli inspectors watching from a distance over closed-circuit TV.
Israel retains final say over whether the crossing can open, and has kept it closed over 80 percent of the time since an Israeli soldier was captured by Hamas-linked militants in Gaza nine months ago, charging that the crossing is being used to smuggle money and weapons to militants."

 :DD This part is the one who really makes me laugh because i imagine the " film " :DD : "The policewoman screamed and ran out of the room.." :))
But now, eh?
THAT is really weird huh? news!
Or she is really brave, or was forced to do it, or was desperate for money to buy food for her familly...whatever...:
With their jaws like THAT, EVEN i )-o would also be brave enough |-| to carry them; i could carry about 3 or 4 crocodiles easily and i would make a good money with them i'm sure ;D , wouldn't I?
What an ODD one this :)):)):))
Keep having fun and enjoy your day :D

Daily Fun Horoscope 4 ALL

by kiki2u @ 2007-03-26 - 09:25:38

.Aquarius=It is because of the superficial nature and expectations of our society that you so often experience turbulence in the unconscious as vaguely disturbing or worrying: we are just unfitted to deal with such profound astrological influences. Make a start now by facing up to your deeper motivations. :))

.Leo=The next few days seem more likely to be dominated by fantasy and rumours than by objective facts and truth. This is all quite harmless as long as you don't go in for too much exaggeration. On the other hand, if you manage to take some time off you'll discover a whole new angle to an old occupation. ;)

Sagittarius=Sometimes it is astrology's task to point out the upside of current celestial alignments, even when they are not too promsing at first sight. Right now it seems that your expectations will be so high that you are laying yourself open to disappointment later - and that would never do. Be realistic and you will achieve a wish.

Taurus=There's an interesting tie-up between planets in those sectors of your solar chart controlling your decision-making powers and working arrangements. You may therefore both anticipate important meetings, discussions and interviews before long, and be confident that you'll do extremely well.

Pisces=According to the astrological tradition of the ages you don't like dealing with money. Ironically this is why you are continually obliged to sort out financial problems - it is here that you have most to learn. Your social plans are about to change, mainly because there'll be serious arrangements to make. :))

OK, those are the ones i remember i have as friends in my list, if you want to know your fun one tell me and i let you know :)
