 I'm the one on the right side, and as i delayed myself to surf the wave, i can tell you that the wave really caught me and rolled me all on it , even sand entered in my mouth!!!!! plus with the surf-board's rope keeping pulling me to one side while the currents pulling myself to the other side....was a real problem ! I saw my life in real troubles w/out knowing where was the UP to breath...till let some air out and follow it till..uuuuuuuuufff open air, and breath, breath, breath!!!despite be in water yet, LOL
LOL, now  i laugh but at the time i had one of those scares of my life  Was at Praia(=beach) de Carcavelos, known for 2 strong different currents, and sub-currents, as well its amazing and beatiful huges waves  Is Lisbon's seaside and nearby my home
