Monday's gone, and my canary is alive!

by kiki2u @ 2006-11-28 - 08:44:22

Garfield

Yet looking for my coffee, must go out soon.
My canary, a yellow one is alive. Yesterday, his cage falled on the floor, with violence, suddenly, and for moments i thought he was dead. But after wet his tiny head he recovered, was alive and yesssssss recovering his balance. Though, with marks around his eyes, and not opening his left eye, i decided to put around it an ointment, and now i went to check and:
- i'm so glad, because his left eye is open, he's seeing.
A reason to smile, all this let me sick, i didn't managed eat, as i can't watch them suffer. He's not ok yet, but is recovering and trying sing again right now :)
Have a nice day,
kk

Going to have my lunch..late yes, but only now some peace and a bit time for myself, i'l work a bit more at home later. I'l visit you too soon, noticing now that you posted already that one about martin L. King, i want to see that one too.
Hope it survives P., ate already and i'm having lots careful with him, well, dad and Filipe too.
Yesterday, the stupid vet. let me very mad and even more sick as wanted to kill him, to give him a " proper death " imagine!!! I think he told me so as they are so fragile the vet. didn't want save him or try to!
Now: is alive and already tried to sing, even hurted on his little face, and head..has some " hematomas "=kind of bruises, dry blood inside or so,etc. and around his eyes especially..
Will survive, i don't let him go :)

I'm just watching men in skirts (lol) - Troy. I'm really glad he survived, though a little surprised. And he's trying to sing - brave little bird. What a lovely story in itself. You must be pleased. Vets are like doctors, they often give up too easily.

:)) you too watching men in skirts P.? :))
:DD:DD:DD
I love them :))
You enjoyed it? Troy is good but Gladiator is better!
He's very brave, must be suffering but fighting, and really recovering, poor one, i really hope he doesn't suffer too much, but the marks, bruises are so visible! No cuts, but almost! and swollen skin around eyes, well eyes are a bit too, is not eating well yet, maybe bcz pains but will keep on :)

I hadn't seen Troy for some years and it is really good, though I agree not as good as Gladiator. The reconstruction of Troy itself was very clever. Wikipedia has a long article on the differences between the film and Homer. Brave bird, what a fighter. You can tell it belongs to your family.

Morning K. That is so brave of him, lovely little bird. But they are such a worry and I don't like birds in cages much.

Thanks RG :)
Yes, so happy, is alive and recovering, will survive, i'm sure.. i'm doing my best to save him. The vet i went wanted to give him a " proper death " imagine!! i was so mad and sick..ooh, i even shouted him!
I'm glad i managed care for the little one, because impresses me a lot trying care it as i don't know if i'm hurting or not the birdy, but is alive and i'm sure not suffering so much, even hurted yet.
Pets, humans, or plants, if i care or love them i do always my best to save them/him/her...is always a life, each one deserves to live, why not help instead of let die? some people really let me crazy!

Hi Kiki
I'm happy for this good news, it happened several times when I had a house with a large bay-window that some little birds flied and hit it :( it happened that some died immediately but most of the time, they lost their consciousness for a while and I took them a little while in my hand, visualizing and spreading some energy to them, it was so moving to feel their tiny heart beating...each time it was such a great time to see them leaving my hand and fly again in the air :) I'm sure your yellow bird felt and nourished from your loving care :)

Hi Roselyn :)
yes, thank you so much, i hope so, i did my best as i don't deal well seeing him suffering, i really shake but he shakes even more frightened and scared plus hurted, so instead of let vet kill him i treated him :) and is alive.
Yes, mine lost his consciousness too, scared me a lot! Must be lovely see they fly away and well after treat them, those birdies hurted, you did well..i'm not so brave, hurts me so much watching them suffering that i paralyze, but yes couldn't let him go :)
Hope all fine with you Rose,
xx

It was just because it happened regularly that I could do this, at the beginning I tended to paralyze too... anyway, you really manage to care it :) and your bird safe !!! Have a lovely evening !

Brave tweetie bird? Funny how attached we can get to creatures isn't it? I used to own an iguana and felt the same way with the reptile.
