Why 7?? Seven eggs! 
To choose and eat only one... He could ask for 6, 8 or 3... but he wants 7, must tastes better. I wonder too if eggs look different, served like that. So, if "Le Chef" only serves him 6 he will not eat, i guess. But he's the one who is the Prince, he can always ask for seven.
By the way, Camila only has 2 eggs , how's that?
